▸Does paying guarantee my child a place?
No — and anyone who promises that is lying to you. Skolpass delivers your application to the schools; every admission decision is made by the school itself, with two staff signatures. What you're paying for is reach: five schools, one form, no travel.
▸How much does it cost?
UGX 4,000 per school until 31 August (early-bird), then 5,000. Your 5th school is always FREE. So five applications cost at most UGX 16,000 — less than one taxi trip to a single school gate.
▸I don't have a smartphone. Can I still apply?
Yes. Every status update also arrives by SMS on any phone, including a kabiriti. You can apply from any browser — a cybercafé, a friend's phone, or with help from a verified Skolpass field agent (check their ID at skolpass.com/verify-agent). Dial-in USSD application is coming this season.
▸What happens after I apply?
Schools review, then you get offers by SMS and email. An offer holds your child's place for 48 hours. Confirming pays the school's commitment deposit and secures the seat — your lower-choice applications withdraw automatically, and those seats pass to other families on the waitlist.
▸Is my child's information safe?
Yes. Child data is protected under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act — only you and the schools you apply to can see it. Not our field team, not other schools, nobody else. Every view of your documents is logged.
▸Which schools can I apply to?
Verified private secondary schools and self-sponsored intakes of government-aided schools. Every school on Skolpass has been physically visited and verified by our team before going live.
▸Someone claiming to be from Skolpass visited our school. Real?
Verify them in 10 seconds — every genuine agent carries an ID with a QR code. Scan it or type the code at skolpass.com/verify-agent. Red result? Report it. Skolpass never asks schools for money through agents.
▸Can I earn something for telling other parents?
Yes — share your referral code. When a parent you referred completes their first application bundle, you earn UGX 5,000 in credits, automatically applied to your next payment.
